AGP Arms Take Down 10/22 Conversion

This is a conversion kit to make a Take Down 10/22 out of your Ruger 10/22.
The heart of this system is our custom match grade barrel that not only is ¾ lb lighter than factory but considerably more accurate. Threaded 1/2-28. The barrel works hand-in-hand with our quick release, return to zero adaptor. This system is engineered so no tools are needed to remove or re-install the barrel in just seconds, and it will remain sighted in to a receiver mounted optic.
The stock is a push button latch, side folding assembly. Constructed from injection molded glass filled Nylon, it's very strong while being super lightweight. With the barrel removed, the folded stock/receiver assembly is very compact at about 11" long. Everything can easily fit into any backpack, duffel bag, small RV cabinet, boat, bush plane, daypack, kayak, under a seat, in a spare tire well, etc. The possibilities are endless.

I bought this kit to modify a 10/22 into a dirt-bike tail-bag friendly firearm. I had tried to use an AR-7 for this purpose, but was not happy with it's accuracy, the difficulty of mounting a red dot scope, the lack of availability of quality hi capacity magazines, and it's reliability. A 10/22 in a takedown configuration seemed like a much better option.
After installation of the kit and zeroing of my Ultradot mounted in standard rings, I tested the unit with a bulk pack of 525 rounds. After clearing the weapon and removing/reistalling the barrel six different times during the range session, the rifle returned to zero every time.
I am very impressed with this kit and would recommend it highly to anyone seeking a take-down 10/22.
